With over 19 years of proven expertise, Jacob O. Alabi excels in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Project Management, and Emergency Management. He specializes in designing and implementing Power BI and Tableau solutions that drive informed decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
Jacob served as the Data Branch Director for the City of Chicago’s New Arrival Mission, where he coordinated information and knowledge management efforts, leveraging tools like Salesforce, Smartsheet, and Salamander to support strategic objectives. In addition, he is a consultant on the City of Chicago's 5-Year Strategic Plan on Homelessness initiative, actively contributing to the Data Working Group to develop unified strategies that address homelessness and support vulnerable populations.
Jacob has extensive experience managing complex projects across various industries, including Public Health, Logistics, Financial Institutions, and Emergency Response. His leadership roles have included spearheading business intelligence initiatives for organizations like the Illinois Emergency Management Agency and guiding data-driven decision-making to optimize resource allocation, reduce costs, and improve operational outcomes.
He holds certifications in FEMA Public Assistance, Project Management Professional (PMP), SCRUM, Agile, and Lean practices. An executive graduate of Harvard Business School, in addition to other studies at Cornell University and Wharton Business School, Jacob is committed to continuous improvement, strategic thinking, and fostering collaborative environments to meet organizational goals.
